We have been working hard over the past 10 years to perfect our carpet cleaning methods,
equipment and chemicals. We are confident that we can offer all of our clients a superior
result - which means cleaner carpets every time!

Methods

We mainly clean carpets using the hot water extraction (steam cleaning)
method. However we also operate 3 other methods of cleaning carpets:-

Bonnet Buffing

Absorbent compound cleaning (dry cleaning)

Each method has its pros and cons. We are happy to discuss and recommend
the right method of cleaning for your own individual requirements.

Equipment

To carry out the best possible job requires the right tools. And when it comes to carpet cleaning we only use the best equipment. The Prochem Performer 405 is the world leader in carpet cleaning equipment. This machine is permanently mounted in a van with pipes running from the van into your premises, where the cleaning takes place. It is powered by a 32 horsepower industrial petrol engine providing cleaning power unsurpassed by any other equipment. And at £55,000 per fully equipped van you won’t find many other carpet cleaners using one.

In situations with restricted access we use top of the range portable equipment. All equipment is upgraded as soon as new technology becomes available.

Chemicals

We use a variety of chemicals depending on the individual carpet and the soiling situation. For wool carpets we only use chemicals approved for use on wool or wool blend carpets. For stain removal each technician carries dozens of stain specific chemicals.

Method

Our 10 point carpet cleaning method is:

	Prepare Room – make safe all delicate and valuable objects and move furniture
	Pre-vacuum and pile lift the carpets thoroughly (as necessary)
	Pre-spray carpets with traffic lane cleaner to loosen soils
	Brush the carpet to agitate the pre-spray
	Pre-spot carpets
	Rinse the carpet using the van mounted carpet cleaning machine, or portable equipment. This process injects heated detergent/water into the carpet and removes the soil/detergent residue with strong vacuums. The carpets are left clean and slightly damp.

	Post cleaning - spot clean any remaining stains
	Replace the furniture, using plastic pads and polystyrene blocks to stop the furniture marking the carpet
	Groom the carpet to dress the pile and remove footmarks
	Speed dry the carpets using air movers (if required)
